Upon the twin's arrival at Hogwarts, Cedric was sorted into Hufflepuff and Adelia into Ravenclaw. Adelia excelled in all her classes and was quickly proclaimed best in her year, though nobody cared to acknowledge her. Once Cedric gained fame among his peers, Adelia shrunk to the background. Adelia was quite an attractive girl, but since she wanted to not be seen, not many noticed. She made a special request to Dumbledore to be referred to by a different last name. Not because she was ashamed of her own, but because the shadows were where she preferred to stay. Although her brother teased her about this, he understood how she felt and decided to play along, claiming that he was an only child to those who asked.

When the famous Harry Potter arrived in their 2nd year, Cedric was shunted from the spotlight where Harry took his place. The years passed quickly, and before the twins knew it their 6th year was upon them and with it The Triwizard Tournament. Cedric entered, and was chosen as the champion for Hogwarts, along with the unexpected Harry. The first two Tasks came and went, with Cedric scoring highly in both. Soon, the third and final Task approached. When Harry appeared outside of the maze, clutching Cedric's limp body and the Triwizard cup, Adelia was forever changed.
