starting anew in ketterdam wasn't how hana thought she would spend her life after running away from her past self, but neither was joining the crows, ran by kaz brekker.
she was just curious about who they were, what they did. anybody could tell they were criminals, but she didn't care much for that. they lived their lives to the fullest, something that she desired so much. by tagging along with them perhaps she could live her own life, true to herself.
it also certainly didn't help that their sharpshooter was her type.

this is a shadow and bone fan fiction, with a little original character x jesper fahey mixed into it! this will be following MAINLY the netflix adaption plotline for it, making a few references to the books as well.

A few days after Alina and I escaped the clutches of my brother, the former Ravkan general of the Second Army, Aleksander Kirigan, we parted ways. I went with Kaz Brekker and his gang of thieves, affectionately nicknamed the Crows, back to Ketterdam, while Alina Starkov and her friend, Mal Oretsev, left for other lands beyond the walls of Os Alta. In Ketterdam, I made a name for myself, aiding Kaz and the Crows in all manner of criminal behaviour, forgetting that I was ever the younger sister of the Black Heretic. But I've lost everything I've ever known.
