When twenty-one year old Sloan Dalton is offered a new well paying job, she decides that its time to move from her small town in Maine to the Windy City, and away from her three year toxic relationship. With no where to stay, nobody she knows, and about 400 dollars in her pocket, she starts her long trip to a new life.
