This story is written to represent an entirely platonic relationship but I suppose you can interpret it however you want.

You take the place of Stanley, and after four years you start to realize different ways you can communicate with the narrator. It starts with body language, than gestures, than written, and your beginning to realize maybe you and The Narrator can get along, and maybe even escape.

This was never meant to be my life. My life had been decided when I was 14. But 20 years later, it was completely undecided by circumstances I had less than no control over. So at 34, I started over, hesitantly. *Note 1: Both the narrator and "He" remain unnamed. "He" is based on an actual actor (some major fantasy-fulfillment happening here), but I wanted to leave the character open to reader interpretation rather than limit the scope of the story or the reader appeal. *Note 2: For now, this is going to be more an anthology of connected one-shots that exist within the same universe; they may or may not follow chronological order. Of course I have like 30 million other things I need to finish but if I don't write this I'll be sad when I have writer's block and then this will never exist. All art is created by me I'm going to do my best to write as Stanley and Narrator are presented but if I mess up be patient i'll probably notice and fix it. This will follow most of the story line and player's choices and part of my own personal headcanons. There will most likely be no smut so if you came here for that- you're out of luck. Unless it's requested I won't do it. It'll be fluff, angst, and some dark themes such as suicide and depression. Continue with caution.

Stanley and The Narrator, a pair never made to last. Creator and creation. "Let's go back just once and give Stanley one more run of the office, Then I'll retire him for good." Stanley found himself desperately attempting to extend this last run of his as much as he could but ultimately couldn't escape from the end after all. The end of the parable and the end of his life chased him relentlessly. And he was going to run out of breath. He awoke one day to sand and sky and the sun gliding over him. ---------------------- This is not going to include any romance, (unless you look closely ig) BUT hear me out, this is an emotional rollercoaster through the path I'm pretty sure most players go through. Just told in a dramatic pre release au Stanley and Narrator thing. Where Stanley - a real person- had helped the narrator cover all corners of the game and create new endings. (Idk man I just moved my hands and this came out. The epilogue traumatised me. )
