This story is written to represent an entirely platonic relationship but I suppose you can interpret it however you want.
You take the place of Stanley, and after four years you start to realize different ways you can communicate with the narrator. It starts with body language, than gestures, than written, and your beginning to realize maybe you and The Narrator can get along, and maybe even escape.
Note: This story is written based on the theory that The Stanley Parable is part of Aperture (from portal) and The Narrator is a core.

Starting Over
This was never meant to be my life. My life had been decided when I was 14. But 20 years later, it was completely undecided by circumstances I had less than no control over. So at 34, I started over, hesitantly. *Note 1: Both the narrator and "He" remain unnamed. "He" is based on an actual actor (some major fantasy-fulfillment happening here), but I wanted to leave the character open to reader interpretation rather than limit the scope of the story or the reader appeal. *Note 2: For now, this is going to be more an anthology of connected one-shots that exist within the same universe; they may or may not follow chronological order. You broke The Game
You download the Stanley Parable...the wrong way. You get stuck inside the game. Have fun with your consequences. The Narrator can be Crass and sassy. But your cleverness is endearing. Getting stuck in Stanleys body was not on your bucket list. Haha. And the Narrator falling for you wasn't on his either. Perhaps by doing as he asks, you will be safe for now. But The Curator has other plans. Reader/Insert/Oc/Female/You. Not complete. Expect some chapters to come. Alone in the Office
"Stanley, if you walk off that ledge one more time, if you kill yourself again, I will not take part in this anymore." There was a huff. "I tried to stop you but you somehow found a way around it. I refuse to try anymore." What did that mean? "Wouldn't take part"? Stanley was curious, he had to admit. And instead of asking, instead of communicating, he casted a glance at the ceiling and threw himself off the ledge for the forty-sixth time. There was a sickening thud and a large, shooting pain throughout his body before the world began to fade. "... Fine. Have it your way." Or, Stanley pushes the Narrator too far and finds himself all alone for four days. TWs will be on the first page.
