Luz Noceda just went to summer camp. That's it, nothing more, nothing less. She hoped something magical would happen, yet, it didn't. She was stuck in this garbage human world for longer than she had expected. Getting bullied everyday, having new men brought to her house everyday, and being a outsider was just the icing on the cake. She felt like she was going to lose it.
What if Luz Noceda never went to the Boiling Isles at 14? What if she instead stayed in the human world and never encountered that mysterious owl until later in her life? We'll figure out soon.

Luz has went to camp and when she came back she didn't act any different, she still didn't get one friend so her mother (Camila) changed. She got aggressive/abusive with Luz and school doesn't help, the second day of school comes and before Luz leaves she runs away and finds a house. Luz runs into it and turns out it took her to the boiling isles. But Luz has changed, she was mean, quiet, hostile and had mad trust and anger issues she also developed Hemophobia (fear of blood) and Traumatophobia (fear of having an injury). When joining Hexside the girls there were mean and harsh like the kids at her human school, but Luz learned how to stick her ground there at her human school. Luz would stand her ground and be mean to literally everyone that got in her way.
