Maya hart moved with her parents to New York City. John Quincy Adams high school students are rude she didn't fit in until a guy name Lucas Friar is there for her. But does this new girl have a secret out side of school?

When Maya is sent to live with her father in Flordia, she is separated from her friends, on top of one of her new siblings that doesn't treat her too well. Lucas just wants to hold her in his arms and she just wants to be held but that could be hard when your twelve hundred miles away.
