Cassie Durham moves to a new city that is divided. There are signs everywhere saying " Take Down This Wall " or " We want this wall to die " or stuff like that, and Cassie wonders why? She meets a girl just get age and befriend's her. Her name is Natalie Ridge-Ford. 
One day, the decided to go to Dowell City Square. On the way there, they cross Main Street, and Natalie is hit by a fast moving car in one of the Rant parades. Sadly, Natalie dies and Cassie goes into deep depression, until she meets the boy of her dreams.
