Children of The Wings (AOT x Child Reader)

Blood. Blood was all you could smell. Your village was attacked by these giant, blood thirsty, human-looking creatures. Screams rang through your ears as you watched in horror as you village got torn apart. These creatures had figured out how to climb your trees.

Your village was a peaceful one before the attack happened. At a certain age, people of my home, would sprout wings from their backs. It's what made your home special. You were still a child when the attack happened. Couldn't walk nor talk but you could remember those screams clearly that day.

You were curled up in the tall grass as everything was quiet around you. Guessing by your size, you assumed these creatures didn't see you but they were still around you, chewing on your friends and families bodies, blood splattering everywhere.

But that day, you remembered hearing noises. To be more specific, horses and noises of humans. People. They killed the giants but there was nobody left. Nobody besides yourself. You don't remember much of what happened next but you remember being looked at and picked up by someone who looked down at you with sadden eyes.
