The year is 2095. Technology has made leaps and bounds in video games. Players can now fully immerse themselves into their video games by fully, body and mind, putting themselves into the games they love to play. The immersion system is still in Beta testing but that doesn't stop a few hopefuls from obtaining the technology.
Y/n works for the company called Teminus which are the minds behind the new game technology. Due to security breaches, the new technology had to be delayed by two years. It's up to Y/n to test it for bugs to make it safe for the public. During one of the testing phases, she ends up getting trapped in Skyrim. Will Y/n be able to escape or will she be trapped in Skyrim forever?

While running from the law in Cyrodiil, a petty crook crashes head-on into an unexpected destiny. This could be her chance at a new life, so long as her secretive nature, thirst for gold, and bleeding heart don't get her killed, first. ----- This is an in-character journal of my Skyrim playthrough. Each chapter is roughly 5k words, or around half an hour if you're using TTS software. Updates Monday and Friday, 6:30 PM EST. Since it's a playthrough, it's obviously full of spoilers, so don't read it if you want to avoid those. My Oldrim game is also heavily modded (whose isn't?) with a lot of realism/immersion mods so some things might be different if you're playing SE or just... Don't use the same mods. Enjoy!
The Song of Deirdre Part I
Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. Marcurio, a mercenary magician, is hired by the mysterious Dovahkiin for the second time.
