Reality: Short story

Disclaimer: This is not to bash shifting in any way! Currently I am an attempting shifter. I just had a cool idea i thought would be interesting to turn into a short story!! If you don't wish to see shifting in a negative way (Which is what shifting is not! Shifting is extraordinary and really mf cool soo.) Then do not read this story. I am working on another Harry potter themed book with a whole original plot! I'm very excited for people of this community to see what I have coming so stay tuned!

"Shifting is an extremely tedious and dangerous act that require precision and dedication. One person living two lives can be.. detrimental. Though they are separated. Your memories are not. No matter how you attempt too, a person cannot possibly bare the weight of two lives and expect them to remain their own. You will begin to dissociate. Won't be able to tell the difference from your reality and a book."
"And you expect me to quit. To leave them behind, they are all I have at this point. I cannot just simply forget about Hogwarts."
"I don't doubt that you have grown exceptionally attached to this reality. However I warn you, you are tampering with a very undiscovered and unknown part of the universe."
"I won't turn away, now they need me more than ever."
"And they will always have you. Right now you are needed elsewhere. You need you."
