Jasika escapes from the little house she was trapped in for four years, scared and lonely she runs for her life and never looks back. She was scarred for life but she knew how screwed the justice system was. No one would believe her even though her friends were law enforcers. Jasika decides to paint the city red and seek vengeance against the men who destroyed the fairytale she had. Law enforcement became concerned about the string of wealthy businessmen who started going missing or were mysteriously found dead.
Valen, a private detective, follows her into the city's darkest corners where they had their eyes on a notorious man of interest. He's been carrying out his own bloody crusade in the shadows, eliminating everyone connected to his kidnapping when he was a child. He's dumbfounded that the sweet, innocent girl he knew had become a bloodthirsty woman but he sympathizes with her. Valen is determined to stop her before she crosses a line she cannot return from; he slowly earns Jasika's trust. What begins as a cautious alliance quickly ignites into a passionate and consuming affair, drawing them both into a world of secrets, violence, and obsession. Someone else had been watching her, a storm was brewing and there was only one way to prevent it.
