If you want to survive, you have to follow the rules. Rhea knows this better than anyone.
Her life has been full of rules, rules on how to act, what to say, where to step. They are the only things protecting her from the creatures that reign havoc bellow them, the reason she calls a web of platforms hundreds of meters above the forest floor home. But Rhea longs for a life free of borders, free of duties, free of rules.
She longs for freedom.
And when the creatures she hears howling in the dark somehow make it up to one of the platforms, it's up to Rhea to find a way to get rid of them once and for all. Because one thing is certain: if they make it past the Bridge, the Sakkra will destroy everything in their path.
Desperate to save her home, Rhea ends up finding so much more than a way to stop the Hoard: another clan, thought to have been lost for centuries. And when she gets thrust into this world that has been underneath them all this time, she realises they may be the answer she has been looking for.
