Daryl has always felt a strong connection with Rick, and he knows Rick feels it too. After heading out with just his brother, Daryl decides maybe he is better needed at the Prison, knowing the group need all the mustle they could get to fight against the Governor.
Rick reluctantly accepts Merle back into the prison knowing its the only way to keep Daryl. Although living in seperate sell blocks, life with the oldest Dixon isnt easy, especially for Daryl and Rick who only grow closer.
Daryl knows Merle would never accept being with a man, especially not Rick Grimes. As the days grow longer and Daryl tries his best avoid Rick and his feelings, he starts to feel like he needs to chose between his brother and the man he wants to be with. Is blood really thicker than water?
