Marlene McKinnon realized that she didn't like boys early on, and, she wanted to tell her friends, she really did, she just couldn't find the right way. Pretending was easier. That is where Sirius Black comes in, the extroverted and elusive charmer has hit a slump, from which Marlene is determined to get him out, but Sirius harbors secrets of his own. Together, they will navigate through fifth year, through jealous best friends and oblivious crushes, and try to find themselves on the way.

Sirius was at Azkaban until Harry went to Elementary school, then he was freed by Dumbledore and was sent home; he needed to prove to the Ministry of Magic he was capable of taking care of himself and only after six years he found out about his Godson. Harry has been living at Grimmauld Place with Sirius ever since he went to Hogwarts. Lord Voldemort hasn't risen completely yet. Luna, Ginny and Astoria are all in the same year. Remus works at the Ministry of Magic and comes to visit Sirius once in a while. Olivia, the main character, grew up half with Bellatrix and half with Sirius, but only in the present time he could win the battle with Bellatrix and send Olivia to Hogwarts.
