Juniper Redwillow only ever wanted two things in life. Revenge on the people that murdered her family, and freedom from the cult-like town of Leona. She had a very detailed plan of what to do, that is, until the mayor of Leona arranged her and her best friend Sylene's marriages in an attempt to control the two barely-legal girls. That's when Juniper creates a new plan, one that involves driving non-stop directly after their highschool graduation. What Juniper doesn't count on is the two girls stumbling into Sy's soulmate, an Alpha, and hiding in a very rural town in Minnesota. From there trouble continually finds her in the form of vampires, drag queens, shadow people, and a certain purple-eyed dragon boy. It was like we were playing a sick game of chess, trying to guess each others movement's and at the same time, worrying about our own. On a night of dark beginnings, a certain creature, a certain being of what can only be described as an angel of darkness changes her life into one consisting of sudden blood cravings with lasting effects and confusing red spots on her neck. Her best friend ever so carefree, strange and compassionate seems to have turned into someone else after that night for which reasons her scientufc mind cannot decipher. Why does she feel her best friend may be hiding something that has to do with that night? Now with a best friend that seems to hold secrets darker than the night, a complicated relationship with anything important, her thirst for knowledge landing her in more trouble than is worth, she finds herself in a coven of things she never knew existed, a coven of things that were used as the topic to scare children into being good. Now introduced into a world of the impossible and its workings, she is also thrust into a world of long warring between the werewolves abd vampires which may very well oust their existence to the human race if they aren't careful and trying to handle the fact that she is now a vampire. Found in a world she has yet to understand, much less accept, she wonders....... Is this how the rest of eternity is going to be?
