Peeta x Reader

Y/N is a sixteen year old girl living in District 12. She lives only with her older brother, who is a tribute mentor, after both of her parents were killed. She is praying her brother will not have to mentor her this year, but things take an unexpected turn as her best friend, Peeta Mellark, is selected in the reaping.

Author's note: This is imagined to take place in the first Hunger Games book, Peeta's first games. The whole event of the Hunger Games remains the same in the book. Some new characters are added but the original book characters are the same. Also, some facts may not be exact because I'm not referring back to the books for accuracy. This is just for fun so enjoy!!
