Lucas didn't know much about the rebels, except they fail every time they try to overthrow king Arrick's reign and that they are desperately trying to stay afloat. That is until he is forced to join them in an unexpected twist of events.

At first, he's desperate to return home but when the king fakes Lucas' death he no longer knows what to believe. Besides, his teenage rebel companions don't seem so bad after all, even though he's now involved in a battle for a cause he doesn't even want to fight for.
