Wendy is a quiet and antisocial girl who does not like anything about herself. She hates school, the students, teachers, and even her parents. Her family is very wealthy and she lives in their mansion all alone mostly because her family is always busy with work. She considers herself very different from everybody else mostly because she never speaks and because of her looks. Then during her junior year in the fall, a student transfers to her school and everyone thinks he is also an outcast with the way he dresses and act in class. It never brought interest to her but she knew he was just like her. Different.

Kait is a 16 year old girl from Montana. She's pretty, athletic, wealthy, smart, and witty. Everything you expect one of the most popular girls at school to be. Dylan is a 17 year old city boy. He grew up in Minnesota, going to school with 800 people just in his class alone - about 700 people more than what Kait is used to.
