As a young flutist, Jessica Ashley Kahal could still recall some of her performances that are quite close to her heart. She considered her solo performance on "Danny Boy" on the emotion charged date of September 11 as one of them. In addition, she performed in a candlelight memorial for the 9/11 attack with her high school choir. She also got a chance to tour with her school's choir called Varsity Voices to Washington DC, NYC, and PA. She was in the Woman's Jazz Chorus, called "Here Comes Treble," and performed at the Kennedy Center as part of a special invitation.
