My bow is raised with an arrow between my two fingers. The end is pointed at President Snow's head. I breath slowly as I begin to release my grip on the arrow.
"Miss Everdeen, it is the things we love most that destroy us," President Snow smiles wickedly.
I release my hold on the arrow and it begins to fly towards Snow's head.
Just as the blade was inches from its target, Snow's body dissipated into thin air. In his place a new one forms.
Peeta.
"Why Katniss?" He whispered just as the arrows slices through his head.
Killing him.

All seems to finally be falling into place for Katniss and Peeta. They have two wonderful kids and a long life ahead of them.
That is until President Snow's granddaughter shows up. And she's out for revenge. She hates Katniss for starting the rebellion that killed her grandfather. She wants her to feel the pain she did.
She decides to use Peeta against Katniss the same way Snow did all those years ago.

Haymitch is a grandfather because he married Katniss's mom after all they went through. Katniss and Peeta's kids are very different. Diana is like Katniss and has her skills with a bow and arrow and hunting. She has her father's talent with a sword, painting, and baking. Finnick on the other hand is like his aunt Prim and grandmother. He likes to take care of people. The story starts with Diana as a seventeen-year-old on the day of the reaping of the 99th hunger games. The Mellarks have a track record for being in love with their district partner. Will it happen again with one of their kids. Also Katniss, Peeta and Haymitch don't have to be mentors. I don't own the characters of the original hunger games. This story is based off a mini plot twist, but otherwise this is just an After Mockingjay story. The plot twist is basically that Katniss didn't kiss Peeta when they were in the Capitol during the Rebellion, and how it would effect Peeta's recovering, since that is obviously taking it a step back. --- Katniss is broken, tortured, and she has lost almost everyone she ever took a second to care about.
