I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. Another AU High School fanfic- Joe Sugg, 12 (starting this from year 7) has just moved from England to Bunbury, Western Australia for his Mum's new job. He is about to start Year Seven of Bunbury High. Starting a new school can be daunting, right!? Correct, especially as he's a bit of a loner, and struggles to make friends. But when he meets Dianne Buswell, also 12, they immediately become the best of friends, realising that they have a lot in common with each other. For example, they both wear glasses. They're both known as loners and geeks. Joe is very much into his games. Dianne is very bookish. They have the same, dry sense of humour. Dianne also struggles to fit in, and gets bullied. After Joe sticks up for Dianne from the bullies, they realise that fitting in at this school is going to be a lot harder than they anticipated. But with each other by their sides, they can get through it. Just. All they need is each other to survive at the school. That, and getting good grades. With these two getting closer and closer and becoming inseparable through the years, will they stay as just friends, or they will become something more!?
