Two years into a marriage with her high school boyfriend, Kate Chapman thinks that her life should be perfect. Everything is, except for the absence of happiness.

Tired of wallowing in self-pity, Kate goes for a walk in the hope of clearing her head when passes by an unfamiliar pub. Not noticing the pride flag and variety of posters in the window advertising drag nights and other LGBT events, Kate heads inside where she is left charmed by the mysterious redhead working behind the bar.

What she doesn't realise, however, is that the redhead is equally as charmed by her, and that the path to happiness is a lot closer than she could have ever possibly imagined.
