One small action can change your life forever.
Fifteen-year-old Raegan Cooper is trapped in the guilt of killing her eldest sister, Marci. On a rainy April night, Marci was driving her sisters to meet their new dad. But before they reached their destination, Raegan started an argument that eventually became physical. Raegan is haunted by the accident, having nightmares on a daily basis. If she had kept her mouth shut, Marci would still be alive today. At least, that is how she sees it.
Raegan found herself going home with only one sister after the accident. Now that Raegan’s protector is no longer in her life, she is learning how to put her trust in people—something Raegan has never done before. Two new people are introduced to her shortly after her sister's death. How will Raegan cope with all of the changes occurring in such a small amount of time? Will her new stepbrother, Troye Sparks, earn her trust, or just be another reminder of the accident?
