Meredith Grey is an ambitious, kind-hearted surgical resident, dedicating her life to helping people in need. She decided to immigrate to the middle- east and volunteer as a surgeon for people that can't afford medical care.
Addison Montgomery is the daughter of two immigrants who moved from the middle east to the USA. Having experienced what poverty and absent health care is like, she decided to move back to the middle east and volunteer as a fetal doctor and OB/GYN.
The two meet in a coffee shop. Immediately feeling a connection they become friends. Sparks quickly fly between them and they realize that they might be more than just friends after all. What happens, though, when the military wants to take over the country? What happens when the two women not only have to protect themselves from the narrow-minded, but from the fire of the battle as well. Will they be able to save not only their beloved people but the innocent civilians too? And will their love be strong enough to last through a war?
There's no major TW for the story other than the occasional intimate descriptions.

This story is a fan interpretation inspired by the upcoming GL series Pls Love starring Lena and Miu. While waiting for their series to begin filming and eventually be released, I wanted to imagine what their story might feel like - to give fans a small taste of the emotions, tension, and romance we might see on screen. This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
