As the absolute silence covered us, all we could hear was heavy panting from both sides. Blood making its way in tiny portions across our faces, a cold blade under my chin, Loki between my legs and on top of me, chests heaving, loose strands of hair falling across our faces, no one moving. Loki stares deep into my eyes, as if he might just see my soul. I do what I do best, I glare. He tips my head with his knife, leans in close to my ears, his hair brushing against my cheek, and whispers with a hot breath.
"If you're serious, we better do this right."

Part One - A New Beginning (Loki x Reader)
Part One of A Prince's Promise Series Somewhere in one of the many alternate realities of the universe, there is a Loki whose life as an Asgardian prince is changed forever when he meets you. Now I don't know about you, my fellow readers, but seeing Y/N in the story is weird and detracts from the story to me. This story IS a LokixReader fanfiction but I have opted to write it in first person to help readers immerse themselves in the story a bit more naturally. This idea came to me before Endgame came out and stemmed from wanting Loki to be happy in at least ONE reality. This is just part one and it will be a super slow burn and when you begin to read it, you'll see why. Part One WILL NOT have any mature content this time around but future parts will.
