Lyra Black is the daughter of Sirius Black. She's been through a lot throughout her seventeen years of life. As soon as she turned seventeen, she ran away from her old life and went straight to the States. She hoped to have a new life, away from all things to do with the Wizarding World, other than her magic and money of course. The Dark Lord is rising in ranks, meaning more and more people are dying or becoming Death Eaters. Being a pure blood Slytherin meant Lyra was one of the main people chosen to be a Death Eater. Lyra refused to be on the dark side, but at the same time, she refused to work under Dumbledore. Dumbledore was a joke, and she seen straight through his lies. When Lyra went to the States, she kept in contact with her uncle, Remus Lupin, and his wife, Nymphadora Tonks. Lyra loved Lupin and Tonks more than anything, so it hurt for her to leave them behind, but she had to get away to stay alive and protect everyone she loved. She had lost almost everyone, and she refused to be the reason she lost anyone else. Moving to Forks, Washington was a huge change. She didn't know what to expect when she moved there, but she really didn't expect to find shapeshifters and vampires close to where she lived. She was different as well, but she believed she was alone. She didn't expect to find someone to love, nor did she expect for things to fall apart around her more than they already had.
