"Cut it short, will ya? I don't want to keep him waiting." ~ Aleken Davelin

Life was regularly fine and cut with Alek, a normal guy.
Till everything hits the fan.

Aleken Davelin is your main protagonist. He works underneath a corporation where they sample blood and DNA. It was just him living and doing what a normal guy does. Work, eat, sleep and repeat. What exactly is the definition of normal? He unluckily encounters the devil of the underworld, with the famous name Satan. A powerful devil that kills and destroys the innocents with an unknown reason. Alek couldn't really handle that fact and brushed him aside. Not in his book. For false accusations and communication, Satan was annoyed. He killed Alek with no issue with a spell and the protagonist was gone.

Five years passed after that incident, and Alek woke up, soon to realize that he was in debt with a sickness that turns out to be a weapon for him.

He gave himself the title of The Virus Stealer.

On her first day of her second year, Maya starts hearing the rumors. They're impossible to ignore, whispers in the halls, sideways glances, and soft giggles when Leo walks by. His name always seems to come up in the same breath as tragedy. It's like everyone knows the details but no one will talk about them, like there's a dark cloud hanging over him. Some say it was an accident, others think it's something worse, but either way, Leo's the one you don't want to get too close to. Maya, however, isn't the type to shy away from rumors. Especially not when they start eating at her curiosity. There's something about Leo that pulls her in, like a puzzle she can't solve. She's been struggling with a hole in her life, the loss of someone she cared about, someone who's been gone for far too long. Desperate for answers and willing to do anything, Maya ends up making a deal. It's one of those things you hear about in hushed tones, something that sounds almost too unreal to be true, but she doesn't care. All she wants is for them to come back, and the cost? Well, she figures she'll deal with that later. But just as she's about to seal the deal, Leo shows up, like some kind of reluctant hero. He tries to save her, to break the bargain before it's too late, but his intervention backfires. The deal takes its toll on her in a way she never expected, half of her soul gets torn away, scattered across town. To make things worse, part of the demon that tricked her takes root inside her, filling the void and granting her powers. But it's not all gifts. With those powers comes the threat of losing who she is, of being consumed by the very thing she tried to control. Maya is left with a terrifying choice: use the powers to reclaim her soul or risk losing herself completely.

If you could stop the world from being blown to oblivion, would you? Ryan McCoy is a killer; a killer who can look into the eyes of his victims and not feel the slightest bit of remorse. Taking lives is something he's spent years committing himself to, but not the lives of innocents. He's what his kind call a tracker, where hardened criminals who roam free are the kinds of people you bury in exchange for money. However, after tragedy strikes, he's forced into fatherhood while being pursued by his old team of trackers. It's considered a sin to abandon your group, once you join, there's no escape. But Ryan does escape, and he does so in the most brutal of ways. Five years later, all of the trackers he once knew and worked with have gone corrupt. They became the criminals they were once so eager to find. After Ryan is introduced to a mysterious new face, his past catches up to him and his family. Secrets and deceit begin to follow him, and the only way he can rid himself of it is if he reunites with the trackers and goes along with one of the most inhumane acts of all time. Who is the one orchestrating all of it? The psychotic, cold, empty sociopath he's forced to call his brother. A brother whose life mission is to take everything Ryan's ever worked for and destroy it. ***WARNING*** This is a fictional story comprised of fictional characters. Angel Virus [ONC 2022]

19 parts Complete

Rik couldn't afford college, so he took a janitor job at a virology lab. One night, he cleaned up a broken test tube. Soon, his beard stopped growing. His Cheetos-and-donut paunch disappeared. Suddenly, when he talked, people actually listened. Sure, he could see spirits, too, and a high-ranking devil may or may not be hunting him, but mostly this was great. Then his sister caught the virus. And others. If the virus spread out of control, what would happen? An angel apocalypse? The hordes of hell's minions could not afford to have the human race turn into angels. To stem the spread of the angel virus, they invaded. Suddenly, it was up to Rik and Trixie to save the city, and themselves, and maybe the whole human race. --- Complete. Still polishing. As might be inferred from the title, this story deals in a loose way with Christianity, one of the five major world religions. It is not, however a "Christian story" in the sense of illustrating actual religious experience or practice. I just thought I'd be plain about that here, so readers can decide whether to turn the page or not. This story is an urban fantasy and it is entirely fictional. Content rating: teen.
