Everyone has moved on with the goal of becoming stronger, and so has Rin. She is currently traveling with a talented teacher, and hunting down criminals in the hope of finding good opponents. 

However, she isn't the only one hunting down criminals, and when the prey of an organization falls into her hands instead, Rin begins to attract unwanted attention. 

Complete destruction of multiple towns are starting to occur as well, with the citizens disappearing. People have found out that the causer of this is a traveling child capable of fighting ninjas, and the first suspect is Rin, who has done nothing of this.

She will be fighting on her own, for actions she has and has not committed, and she will face the shock of the mysterious return of a familiar.

The fourth book of Rin's story, and the short bridge between Naruto and the long awaited Shippuden.
