She tightly shut her eyes and waved her slender hand in a slicing motion. A mind-numbing scream echoed through the field followed by a thud.

Shaharazad opened her eyes to find the slain body of Shahryar with his head separated from his body. The head rolled over the distance towards her and stopped at her feet. She lo'ked down horrified and breathless at the head of Shahryar which carried the sadistic and cruel eyes glaring af her soul....'

This is a retelling of the famous Arabian Nights origin story with it's ending reimagined.
