"I can make you feel so good, Delilah." He whispers in my ear and his teeth nibbling on my earlobe sends a shiver through me. I get tingles all over my skin.

"That's the problem, I can't trust this Harry, cause if it seems too good to be true, it usually is." I throw my head back, giving him more access to my neck.

"Fuck, If you could just get out of that pretty head of yours ."

He shifts his hips and gets a better grip on my lower thighs, lifting me up higher against the wall. I can feel him against my core. He places a kiss on my neck and sucks harshly, I know that will leave another mark. I flinch when the moment is abruptly stopped by the door swinging open.

"What the fuck ?"

Only months after losing the most important person in her life, Delilah Allen is forced by her emotionally detached mother to move across states to Miami to live with her estranged father. Her biggest surprise since moving away from her modest living in Brooklyn, wasn't the hotels and clubs though, rather a tall, dark tempter who runs on secrets and intoxication.

Between the parties, drugs, friends, lies, and luxurious living Delilah can't help but find herself tangled in a web of love and lust. Behind her quickly over-stimulated heart though, there was always a hint of trepidation, almost as if to warn her that this wasn't meant to end well.

"Why do you care?" he asks. But it's not soft. It's sharp, defensive, like he's already bracing for the answer. I want to tell him the truth. Because you saved me. Because you're the only one who makes me feel real. Because if you fall apart, I don't know what happens to the rest of us. Instead, I just say, "Maybe I want to understand." He scoffs, no humor in it. "You don't. Trust me." Silence stretches between us. Then he steps forward, close enough that I can see the way his hands won't stop shaking. "You already know too much," he says, voice low. "More than you ever should've." I don't look away. "Then tell me the rest." He shakes his head. "It's not your place. You don't get to ask." "But I am asking." He exhales sharply. "Jesus, Lily. This isn't a story with a clean ending. I'm not a mystery. I'm a goddamn warning sign. I'm dangerous." I flinch, but I don't move. And that pisses him off more. He takes a step back like he's going to leave, then pauses. His eyes flick to my jacket. In one quick motion, he reaches in and pulls out the burner phone. "I think this belongs to me," he says, tone sharp but quiet. No accusation. Just fact. I don't respond. Just watch as he slips it into his pocket, like closing a door I wasn't supposed to open. He looks at me for one long second, jaw clenched. "Go home," he says again, this time like a warning. And this time, I believe him. He crushes the cigarette under his boot, turns his back, and walks down the alley, leaving me standing in the dark. - Lily didn't ask to be assigned to him. Harry Styles is a name whispered like a warning, famous for his ink, infamous for everything else. Brooding. Untouchable. But Lily has a habit of looking too closely. And when she finds something she shouldn't, the line between curiosity and consequence begins to blur. He told her to stay away. She should've listened. - TW: emotional abuse, manipulation, drugs, sex, violence, trauma.

** Violet Bennett lives under the weight of a name she barely understands. Surrounded by secrets and lies, she's trained to survive. But when the lines between real and fake blur, Violet begins to realize that nothing in her world is as it seems. Every truth is layered in deception, and protection always comes at a cost. Sometimes that cost is your voice. Sometimes it's your freedom. And sometimes it's your heart. Always nearby is Harry Styles, mysterious, sharp, cold and a constant reminder that danger is closer than she thinks. Covered in tattoos and silence, he watches like he knows something she doesn't. And naybe he does. There's something between them. She feels it in the silence, in the way his anger feels personal, in the quiet moments that say more than words ever could. But love, if that's what this is, has no place in a world built on secrets. And falling for someone like him might mean losing everything. Because in this world, love isn't soft. It's a weapon. And Violet is already in the crossfire. *** "You shouldn't smoke." The voice cut through me before I even processed it. I spun around instinctively, heart racing. And there he was. I blinked. "Holy shit. You scared me." He didn't move. Didn't even flinch. "Didn't know I had to announce myself." "How long have you been up here?" He looked away, back out over the skyline. "A while." "You're always hiding," I muttered. "And you always follow." ** 04/05/25 -

I quickly get into my car and drive to the downtown Starbucks. When I arrive there is only me, a tall blonde chick, and a dark haired man. This man was gorgeous, had the eyes of emerald, and dimples deeper than a sea. He was dressed in grey sweatpants and a long sleeve black shirt. He had a nice build, slim but muscular. His hair was a curly mess, but looked good on him. He got his coffee and walked casually out of the door that was near me. He walked straight past me as if I wasn't there. Well, he doesn't know me so I guess that it doesn't really matter. I walked up to the counter and ordered my drink and then waited for it to be fixed. The door chimed and the same man from earlier had walked through the door. "Um I forgot my straw..." he says out loud and both the girl at the counter and the girl waiting for her drink awes in his presence, completely taken over by his amount of hotness. He walked over to get a straw and while he was at the counter, my order was ready. "Emery!" The woman called and I hurriedly got up and received my drink. When he saw me he looked at me with a scowl. What the hell did I do to him? He then got the straw and walked away. Weird...
