Theo and Kassandra, two 13 year old best friends, pick out a book from the library, 'Typhon's Wrath'. When they checked out the book and started reading, like any normal person reading a normal book, they didn't expect to be transported into the book and finish the story themselves...
Hiyaa! Sorry I suck at writing descriptions lol. This oneshot is just a narrative I had to do for school- so its not that long. 3000+ words or so. It's not very descriptive as I wanted it to be either- BUT, I do plan to make a much longer and more detailed version, so look out for that! :D

Book One in the My Mate Series - "Elijah," Alexander calls in this terrifying voice. I know it's dangerous but I ignore him, I keep my eyes shut and continue to rock myself back and forth, my hands blocking my ears. I didn't want to look at him, I didn't want to see those black orbs. "Look at me." He demands, his voice depicting his rage. "No," I whisper. "Look at me or I swear, I will do it!" He shouts. I'm not completely sure what 'it' is but I'm sure it has to do with death. Slowly, I reluctantly remove my hands from my ears and pick up my head from my knees, I open my eyes gazing up at him. As soon as I do - I wish I hadn't. Because as soon as I do Alexander snaps his neck. I gasp, tears sliding down my cheeks even faster than they were before. My mate is a monster. "I told you." He laughs, "I am a monster. I smelt something calming, like the smell of rain and vanilla and suddenly, a guy came in charging at Gabriel. Gabriel didn't have any time to react as he was knocked to the ground.
