We Couldn't Stop Love

When Sage Anderson was given the news she was attending her dream university of Harvard, she was excited. Her boyfriend, Matthew Landon wasn't. He didn't want to upset her. He loved it when he saw her smile. He loves when her eyes are wide. He loves it when she got excited. He loves her being happy. He loves her. But knowing that he won't be able to see her as much hurts him. And he never did long distance but the thought of it was still hurting. Which left him with no other choice..

"I'm breaking up with you Sage." He said as she was just ending her speech about how excited she was to go.

Her smile turned upside down. Her body had stopped moving. And her eyes. They were watering. And then it all went down.

"I don't think we can work things out like this. You're going to be in a whole new state while I'm here working long hours at the office. We won't have time for each other anymore. We both are going to be busy for the next four years. I'm happy for you. I really am. Sage. I'm sorry." And so he left, leaving Sage devastated.

Hurt.

Abandoned.

And most of all

heartbroken.
