London is in a state of despair, the Industrial Revolution and economy caused a drastic increase in population. The streets are filled with human waste and the atmosphere is filled with infamous fog. Crowds fill the city and poverty strikes.

Donovan Wright, a well respected man, is suddenly mugged and attacked. Wright becomes traumatized, he suffers from concussions. The trauma causes Wright to hallucinate, he envisions a new world.
