Her brother, a homophobe and the reason Laila is in this mess, can't let go of her. He can't let her risk her life by entering this death match, and tries his best even after she is in.
But Laila doesn't want him there. As even his life will be at risk then.
Not to forget, the death match. Will Laila be able to face her inner demons? Especially when they become real.

And my sister, the most beautiful thing on earth was getting love from everybody I needle love from, my mom and my first love. The day I lost my mom my life changed, my sister hated me and I became something I didn't want to. But life goes on, in my case death, I am a vampire, I will live forever with a frozen heart and with a broken soul.
