Welp, I've never written a fanfiction before, but after thumbing through page after page of mediocre Undertale 'fics, I felt compelled to write one. The subject of this tale is Chara's ambiguous backstory. (for the sake of simplicity I'm going to call her a girl) There's so much about her that's left up to the player's imagination. Why did she climb Mt Ebott? What about her parents/family? Why does she want to erase the world? That's what I'm going to interpret. I've been both intrigued and disturbed by her, and she's a character I've been thinking quite a lot about. So, here we go. I do not own Undertale or its characters.

Just a DDLC fanfic with nothing but my own perception of certain things. In the end, I just do this for fun. A little something you should know: this story is not based on the idea of everything being just a game, so everyone is as normal as possible, with their problems and all. It may be obvious, but none of the following characters belong to me: Yuu (the protagonist), Sayori, Natsuki, Yuri, Monika. Even so, the main character could be considered as my own when talking about personality since I completely changed it. I'd like to have my own, but I'm not an artist to that degree, and I'm not planning on monetizing this story. If I do someday, which I doubt, I will change the cover.
