Everly and Carter were inseparable as little kids. Childhood best friends, that's what they were. Growing up neighbors, the two individuals quickly became a pair that everyone knew.

They were inseparable, doing almost everything together. After Carter's father is offered a higher position at the law firm, the Larson family packs up their bags, breaking the bond that formed between the two. The pair finally split, turning the once inseparable pair into strangers.
Ten years later Everly finds herself in a similar position, packing her bags alongside her mother after finding out of her father's betrayal to the family. Arriving in her new town Oak Ridge, Everly felt even more alone than she did when Carter left.

On her first day of school, Everly expects what every new kid would feel. She would walk into school, receive the stares from her peers, and make no friends as all the groups have already been established. The one thing Everly never expected on her first day of school was to see the one and only Carter Larson standing right in front of her.

Will the once inseparable pair rekindle their friendship and even a new type of connection, or will the time the two spent away from each other create more tension and heartbreak for the two as they now have to spend their last year of high school together?
