Decades ago a war broke out on the surface of this earth, nations from all over the world fought with all their strength. To everyone's surprise, one side unleashed a gas, that choked the air and plunged humanity to develop severe defects that grew inhuman abilities in whatever it touched. After the war ended, and these defects showed up, the world tilted out of balance, people used their defects for wrong reasons. The world was chaos until, one man created a team of individuals who used their defect, to help others, to remove evil, to bring back civilization. A strong and mysterious man called the Duck. However our story is about an extremely average hero, not too weak not too strong, not too flashy, not too unnoticeable, his name is as he likes to call himself: Mob. Defect: Sand, Weapon of choice: Katana and Passion: *sigh* Women.All Rights Reserved

Which pretty much is a different twist on. The ugly duckling child's story but this one's more for teens and young adults. This is about girl who ugly duckling. She comes from a wealthy family. In a world that only values appearances. Their appearance measures how much power they have in society. But also what role they'll play in life. And she's out of shape overweight and unattractive. But even through physically she bigger then all the girls around her she felt like the smallest most insignificant human in existence. Her family didn't even consider her a person but an object. With no chance at happyness. she wasn't even allowed to live in the main family house which was a huge luxurious mansion. On her family's astate. Sumter family was actually the most wealthy because they were the most beautiful. Which is why they always seen her as such an eye sore. They made her living in shed. Act as a maid which met serving her siblings hand and foot. They treated her no better than an animal a dirty little secret that is until. She as they say in the stories became a beautiful swan. But she didn't become a swan. She became something far more incredible. something far more beautiful than any human could imagine that pocessed true power. As well as internal youth.

Marked by light physical features and high spirits! * Aristocrat - an upper class individual. Marked by dark physical features and perfect skin. *Peat - an individual that has both plebeian and aristocratic blood, usually from rape. Marked by a number on the side of his/her neck. * Defect - a derogatory name given to nobles when they appear less than average. * D.O.C. - the day of correction set to kill off those that don't look perfect * Corpse flower - a flower that has been rumored to possess the components to correct the genetic error found in Sybaran. * Silver knickle - currency in Nephraim * G-shot- the shot that corrects defects. * The Oval - is the center of the world, the government. President Malcolm Bouchard works here. Basis and facts throughout the story: Pieces from the Old World are forbidden. Those with lighter hair follicles and iris colors are considered problematic; skin tone is no longer the issue. Every race has the ability to be born with lighter features, so there's no prejudice against race. Just physical features. Sybaran is the continent; Nephraim (home village) , Salem (stricter division, where Aero was born), Mieich, and Shankrai, are the 4 subdivisions (countries) of Sybaran that we have so far.

I didn't mean to fall in love with my brother's best friend. Kingsley Pierce has been my enemy since he befriended my twin brother in first grade. Who constantly tugged my pigtails at nap time in second grade? Kingsley. Who was to blame in fifth grade when an entire bottle of glitter glue just happened to pour onto my head? Kingsley. What about ninth grade (the first go around) when a full tray of beans appeared onto my seat just as I was sitting down? You guessed it: Kingsley Freaking Pierce. The man in question and I have been at each other's throats since we both realized only one of us could be my brother's favorite, and I have been determined to win. That is, until I started fighting a bigger fight. Four years ago, the government announced the presence of Enhanced individuals. People across the country started gaining what can only be described as super powers. There are the Generics (like my brother and me) who have heightened senses, strength, flying - basic stuff really. Then, there are the Advanced. The Advanced have unique and powerful abilities - like being able to control spiders or the elements. My brother refuses to acknowledge his powers, instead insisting he can live a normal life. I, on the other hand, partnered with the government to rise up as Tri-City's hero when the last one disappeared only two years ago. Despite being all by myself, I've put away more Advanced supers than I want to count - never losing a fight. My undefeated streak comes to a screeching halt when a new super appears out of nowhere. Crimson Current. He is wreaking havoc on the city with powers I've never seen - powers I can't compete with. So, why am I so twisted up about Kingsley Pierce when I have a hell of a lot more to deal with? I honestly have no idea. But can I just say, I am shocked.
