Decades ago a war broke out on the surface of this earth, nations from all over the world fought with all their strength. To everyone's surprise, one side unleashed a gas, that choked the air and plunged humanity to develop severe defects that grew inhuman abilities in whatever it touched. After the war ended, and these defects showed up, the world tilted out of balance, people used their defects for wrong reasons. The world was chaos until, one man created a team of individuals who used their defect, to help others, to remove evil, to bring back civilization. A strong and mysterious man called the Duck. However our story is about an extremely average hero, not too weak not too strong, not too flashy, not too unnoticeable, his name is as he likes to call himself: Mob. Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

Which pretty much is a different twist on. The ugly duckling child's story but this one's more for teens and young adults. This is about girl who ugly duckling. She comes from a wealthy family. In a world that only values appearances. Their appearance measures how much power they have in society. But also what role they'll play in life. And she's out of shape overweight and unattractive. But even through physically she bigger then all the girls around her she felt like the smallest most insignificant human in existence. Her family didn't even consider her a person but an object. With no chance at happyness. she wasn't even allowed to live in the main family house which was a huge luxurious mansion. On her family's astate. Sumter family was actually the most wealthy because they were the most beautiful. Which is why they always seen her as such an eye sore. They made her living in shed. Act as a maid which met serving her siblings hand and foot. They treated her no better than an animal a dirty little secret that is until. She as they say in the stories became a beautiful swan. But she didn't become a swan. She became something far more incredible. something far more beautiful than any human could imagine that pocessed true power. As well as internal youth.

Tattoos whipped out of place. Emerald green eyes. Vocabulary: * Plebeian - a lower class individual, the lowest class. Marked by light physical features and high spirits! * Aristocrat - an upper class individual. Marked by dark physical features and perfect skin. *Peat - an individual that has both plebeian and aristocratic blood, usually from rape. Marked by a number on the side of his/her neck. * Defect - a derogatory name given to nobles when they appear less than average. * D.O.C. - the day of correction set to kill off those that don't look perfect * Corpse flower - a flower that has been rumored to possess the components to correct the genetic error found in Sybaran. * Silver knickle - currency in Nephraim * G-shot- the shot that corrects defects. * The Oval - is the center of the world, the government. President Malcolm Bouchard works here. Basis and facts throughout the story: Pieces from the Old World are forbidden. Those with lighter hair follicles and iris colors are considered problematic; skin tone is no longer the issue. Every race has the ability to be born with lighter features, so there's no prejudice against race. Just physical features. Sybaran is the continent; Nephraim (home village) , Salem (stricter division, where Aero was born), Mieich, and Shankrai, are the 4 subdivisions (countries) of Sybaran that we have so far.

"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years.
