This is my take on Ash making a slightly different choice and how it affects the series.

The Legend of Ash
The story starts after Ash returns from his Alolan Journey. He spends a few days at home until suddenly he has a vision of a cloaked figure calling him to train at Mt.Silver. He heeds the call. In this timeline, almost all the events that happened in the anime still happen except, removing a couple of Ash's unnovan Pokémon, he wins the Kalos league, and he doesn't release Greninja. Galar doesn't exist in this universe. Other than that everything is virtual the same.

After gets lost by an idiot trainer named Cameron in unova league. Ash decides that it's time to train intense and he declared to himself that he will win the kalos league and becomes the very best like no one ever was for all of his friends,rivals and his family. Few things to consider: 1. English is not my first language so please bear with my grammar and i am very sorry for that. 2. Ash will not have the same team like he has in kalos and yeah some of his Pokemons get replaced and who knows ash can also catch a legendary/mythical Pokemon. 3. I will continue my story according to anime but it doesn't mean that i will not add chapters on my own. 4. I can also add some OCs and i have a brilliant plan for an OC for that you have to see that by yourself. 5. For romance it will be ash x harem and you know who is one of the member in this harem (eyed a certain honey blondie girl) mostly girls are from kalos but you can request i will add the girls from other regions too. 6. This story is open to all criticism but no hate comments because both of the things are different.
