This is my first attempt at writing a book and I'm putting the first few chapters on here to see if people like it so please enjoy.
A century has passed since the war, and we lost. What's left of the world is a wasteland, barren and dead. The humans are left trying to hide and endure. Large groups do travel across what's left of the earth. They are commonly known as Cogs(Centrally organized grouped survivors). Many are drawn to join them for food, water, and strength in numbers. But very rarely do these groups survive long, for many are wiped out.

SPECTRE
Specter: This is a story I've been working on for awhile. I've seen many people talk about how bad their writing is. This just makes me cringe because they say this when they're just on their first draft. I decided to post the first draft of my story called Specter. This is purely just to give writers and idea what a first draft looks like. A confidence booster. Something to compare your writing to. The best writer never wrote a master piece on the first go. Whimpers of the Light
The world has ended. It wasn't the big explosive thing everyone had expected. No single moment of collapse, no one person to blame. Only a long, insidious torment. A trial with no end. No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31. They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?Complete

This is a story about four individuals who face fear, heart break, love, suicidal thoughts, anger, and infection as they fight to survive in this new world of the undead. Passion (Book 1 of "The Fantasy of Life" Series)
(Not proofread, not final version but all the chapters are there. This book is a fantasy story set at a modern time, although don't expect cell phones or true technology, cause who needs it when you have magic. I copy and pasted this story from my computer, this got rid of most of my italic, bold, or underlined words. Last note: Cover is temporary, it doesn't even come close to portraying what I want.) A revenge fueled journey leads a young elven girl and a group she brings together through her cause and some other nice coincidences. Something big, very big has come back from a long slumber, turning loved ones against their own people with some strange ulterior motive. When trying to escape the worst, and learning you're not wanted dead you wonder what it all means, what it's all for, and that only makes the rage worse.Complete
The Shot was Fired
A group of friends deal with life in the trenches along the Western front. Young German soldiers sent to fight a war they were told would be over by Christmas, soon realize that they aren't going anywhere. I did as best research as I could at the time, I'm sure it is not 100% accurate. This was written several months ago based on a story I wrote in middle school. I decided to I wanted to post this somewhere just in case someone else found it, maybe I can get some feedback. I know it is far from perfect and I have thought about going back and reworking it but just have not gotten around to it.Complete
Remains of Humanity
After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?Complete
