Ava Entwistle is just a modern single girl - who also happens to be a shapeshifter. But she's no superhero or spy; Ava has used her powers to create different personas, including Variel, the internationally renowned modelling beauty.

When she meets the gorgeous and brilliant Mark, she realises that someone as amazing as him could never fall for boring, average Ava. Instead, she uses her enigmatic alter egos to draw closer to Mark, and they become friends, enemies and lovers, all at once.

The lines between her lives begin to blur, and Ava soon realises that she'll have to reveal her true self to Mark - or risk losing him forever.
