The poem is divided into 4 stanzas and 17 lines, the poem is addressing the issue of a particular country in Africa, 'Nigeria' to be precised, where our leaders are controlling the masses from a distance. The only time they come close is when they need our support, once in four years and then disappear into the air again. A country where the security of the masses is at stake where we do not see ourselves as ONE anymore. The grave yards as used in the poem, refers to our home where we rest after our daily work from 9am-5pm, even though it is as small as a grave yards but serves as a place of comfort to us. But as time goes on, we are moved from our earthly home to heaven, which is our permanent home, where there's equity and where there's no promise and fail attitude of our leaders.
