Jeno had been living in a foster home for his entire life. He liked it, but he wished he could get out and see the world more like the other kids. Jaemin was part of a rich family and although other people were envious of him, he hated having to act proper around everyone.
When these two kids meet, they immediately become best friends, bonding over the frustration of not being free from everything.
But when Jaemin's family makes him transfer to a school in Seoul, Jeno is left heartbroken. He would continuously send Jaemin letters, but was left with no responses.
Jeno, finally being an adult, moves to Seoul to find Jaemin, only to see that his childhood friend and crush is now engaged.
But something seems off about their relationship, and when Jeno finds out it's an arranged marriage, he does everything he can to try to get Jaemin out of it.
