Atticus is a young senior who's just trying to get through high school so he can leave his hometown to get away from his toxic mother. But one night he comes home and notices this dark shadow like man standing over his mother's limp body, looking like he was sucking the life out of her. Shock and scared Atticus runs for his life after witnessing the soul-taking of his mother. Only to be stopped by the supposed Grim Reaper who he soon realizes isn't as evil or as hideous as everyone thinks.
