"Children who need to be taught to respect traditional moral values are being taught that they have an inalienable right to be gay,All of those children are being cheated of a sound start in life. Yes, cheated."With that being said, thousands of voices were silenced and the floodgates of hate and bigotry were opened. The dark days were here, but the light at the end of the tunnel was always worth chasing. Elizabeth knew this, she was ready to join the movement against section 28, but its hard to be against the very thing that your father helped to set up. Finding herself torn between standing up alongside those who were willing to stand up for human rights and her fathers work, which gave her the life she always wanted, she was faced with one question: what's worth more, reputation or empathy?

1/2 ------------------------------------------------ Kara. Marianna. Aaron. Emerson. Jonah. Trevor. Lily. Ms. Lewis. This is a story about unfortunate children with unfortunate problems, a special teacher to help them through it, and a clueless bystander who learns to shed her ignorance and see through the veil of pain that many of these kids dawn every day. ------------------------------------------------ This is a project I'm working on for my English class in school. It's called the 20time project. My teacher, an amazing woman, was inspired to do this project after learning about it after attending a sort of convention called Google Summit I believe. Basically, we are dedicating 20% of our time (not including after school hours) to work on a project of our choosing to somehow better the society in which we live. I chose to write a book. I thought it would be in my best interest to share.
