Jordyn Pierce was everything but needy. Strong, outgoing, confident, independent, she was what every girl aspired to be. After spending the summer in New York with her two best friends, Isabelle and Brie, she returns back to her home in Florida only to find out things weren't the same as when she had left. Going back to school, she would have to face the constant stress of schoolwork and most importantly volleyball, as she was team captain, hoping she was good enough to get a scholarship off of it. Jordyn wasn't used to change, especially the major ones. Like how she had suddenly developed some type of feeling towards star baseball player? James Carazo. As time progresses, they start to spend more time together, making time for each other even with their busy schedules. Jordyn wanted nothing more than for these feelings to disappear. She didn't have time for boys or distractions, which had been one of the main reason she made a rule. One she promised she would never break. No dating. Jordyn had seen how most high school relationships ended. Drama, which was the last thing she needed in her life, hence her need to promptly use boys for benefits only. Easy enough right?

Brooke is a different girl. She was raised in and out of foster homes. Most children raised in and out of foster homes end up working at low-life places their whole life, but Brooke refused to let her situation and how much she hated her life dictate her future and how she could, and would, one day be happy. She worked as hard as should could to keep her perfect grades, and when the time came to apply to colleges, she had so many scholarships that she had everything paid for, even her textbooks. She got into Stanford, and fought hard to get on the Baseball team. Everyone was against it. Girls should be on Softball. So when she goes to tryout for the Yankees, the whole team is against it. Until she hits the ball into the stands. Her essence attracts the guys to her, but they hate the thought of a girl on their team. Eventually, a wonderful guy will enter her life, addicted to her essence and her will and how mesmerizing she is. Will Brooke be able to accept that somebody could actually like her for something other than her looks?
