Jordyn Pierce was everything but needy.

Strong, outgoing, confident, independent, she was what every girl aspired to be.

After spending the summer in New York with her two best friends, Isabelle and Brie, she returns back to her home in Florida only to find out things weren't the same as when she had left.

Going back to school, she would have to face the constant stress of schoolwork and most importantly volleyball, as she was team captain, hoping she was good enough to get a scholarship off of it.

Jordyn wasn't used to change, especially the major ones. Like how she had suddenly developed some type of feeling towards star baseball player? James Carazo.

As time progresses, they start to spend more time together, making time for each other even with their busy schedules.

Jordyn wanted nothing more than for these feelings to disappear. She didn't have time for boys or distractions, which had been one of the main reason she made a rule. One she promised she would never break. No dating.

Jordyn had seen how most high school relationships ended. Drama, which was the last thing she needed in her life, hence her need to promptly use boys for benefits only.
