"No... This is just for my brother and your career, remember? We can't let the emotions of things...." Rainn's words died out in her mouth, realizing what she was saying.

A low, humorless chuckle rumbled in Grayson's chest and his lips curled into a forced smirk. "Right. I forgot you hated me. This.... This is just for Alex, because he would want us to hate each other."

"Stop it."

He scoffed. "Yeah, he'd hate the idea of his best friend and sister getting along."

"You're not asking to just get along." She shot back.

His eyes snapped up to meet hers. "Right... I guess I am an idiot to ask the girl I've always admired to feel the same way about me, the same way I feel about her."

Her back hit the seat, trapped.

"And you won't admit it because you're terrified of me." He breathed, his eyes searching hers. "I could make you happy and being happy is the most terrifying thing to you now, because you know once you're happy, it can be taken from you again."

Her eyes welled with tears as she whispered, "how do you know?"

"I know because I think I'm in love with you and I'm terrified too."

•••

Rainn Williams doesn't know what to think when her childhood friend suddenly pops back into her life and his murderous bike kills her morbidly obese hamster.

Grayson Jones doesn't know what to think when he runs over his childhood friend's hamster and discovers Rainn is wheelchair bound.

Ever since Rainn's brother died and Grayson rose to fame, he vanished from her life, never to be seen again.... Or so she thought.

Not only did her brother leave a bucket list behind for Grayson and Rainn to complete, but Grayson's manager came up with an idea she'd be insane not to partake in.

All she has to do is be Grayson's fake girlfriend to bring back his squeaky clean image. With a pay check she can't refuse, she can't help but take it. It's just one summer, how bad can it be?

His Sweet Lies by moonprince87

Her brows furrowed. "You look like you have something specific you wanna ask me." The tips of Liam's ears turned red at Emma's very accurate observation. "I, uh... I usually just bullshit my way through projects, so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing." The corners of Emma's lips formed a small smile. Liam arched his brow. "What are you smiling at?" Her smile widened. "Nothing." Ever since Emma started going to Silver Creek High, she's been bullied over her discolored eyes. It all started when a boy brought attention to her in biology class one day, laughing at her and calling her a "freak" while the rest of the class laughed along with him. She never looked at him or saw his face; she just ran out of the room crying. She was now an outcast labeled as a freak and she wanted nothing more than to just disappear. She felt she had no purpose in life. Until her sophomore year when she fell in love with Liam, the guy every girl wanted; the guy every dude wanted to be. He had stolen her heart and she now wanted nothing more than to be with him. Unfortunately, Liam seemed to want nothing to do with Emma. He seemed to be straight up avoiding her. They never interacted for 3 whole years. That is, until now in their senior year, when they get paired up for a school project. The two must put their differences aside and try to work as a team. "You say you love me, yet you try to rip me apart limb by limb. I may not break easily, but the way you keep wearing me out all the time - well - I might as well just be made of paper. That way you wouldn't have to try hard to break me. One tear with your fingers and that's it. I'd be done for. Too bad that's not going to happen." *** "I want a kiss." He leans in a little, just enough to touch my hair. "Did you dye your hair purple?" he smirks, his famous smirk. I smack his hand away and he steps back. "It looks nice." He says softly. It sounded genuine. Like, 'the Carter Daniels' was actually giving me a compliment. He laughs, knowing I didn't expect him to say that to me. "Thanks." I say softly. Then, I casually lean into him, so close I can feel his breath hitch and his heart race. "Do you still want that kiss?" I whisper, seductively. Carter is frozen in place. I guess he wasn't expecting me to tease him back. I wasn't either. Now, it's like my body and mind aren't the same. But, I had to admit, it was fun teasing him like this. *** On the surface Lila seems like your everyday teenager in her junior year of high school, but if you look a little deeper, you will see something dark and uncertain lingering in the depths of Lila's life. Lila has always gotten out of her conflicts with her shyness, whether it be with her 'friends' and their abuse or Kevin's (Lila's older brother) best friend, Carter and his constant tormenting. But, when she decides to finally fight back against the binds that trap her from freedom, will Lila cower under the fear of her 'friends' or will she finally find her voice and free herself from the darkness that never wants to leave her? Finding Her Voice focuses in on a teenage girl's life named Lila. Follow her story as she gets into rancid blood baths with her (sort of) friends, trades insults with her older brother's best friend, and takes advice from her smarter, younger brother.

"Stop that." I jumped slightly as my eyes shot over to the familiar hulking form standing in the doorway of my bathroom. I always forget how tall Derek is until I'm standing right next to him. Or in this case in front of him. "Stop what?" my brows furrowed as I watched his reflection fully enter the room until he stood right behind me. His large hands rested on either side of me on the counter, trapping me between his arms. His chin hovered over my left shoulder as his forest eyes scanned my face in the mirror, his lips forming a small barely noticeable frown. But I noticed it. "Stop judging yourself." was his simple reply, but I know that something like that is easier said than done. "you're beautiful, red..." he leaned in further and I could feel his hard chest pressed against my back, making my insides do somersaults. "if you knew what I've done... the people I've hurt... you wouldn't think I was beautiful either..." ...... Alice Books has blood on her hands and doesn't believe she deserves a shot at redemption. A shot at love. Or a shot at life in general. What she did to have blood on her hands was out of self-defense and survival, but she doesn't see it that way and doubts she ever will... Until she meets the bad boy, Derek Wilder, who- underneath all the glares, tattoos, piercings, and leather jackets- is an absolute goofball. He sees Alice for all she's worth: Strong, beautiful, and not the cold-blooded murderer she likes to claim she is. He's determined to prove it to her no matter how long it takes- all the while fighting demons of his own. Will Alice continue to think she's the monster the voice in her head claims her to be? Or will Derek's demons ruin everything for everyone? ............... I will be uploading every MONDAY! ⚠️trigger warning⚠️ This story does contain ABUSE! so if that is something that you are not comfortable reading, I ask that you DO NOT READ! you have been warned...

"This book is the perfect mixture of deep and hilarious. I'm in love with that" - crackhead4ever Teen fiction has given cheerleaders a bad rap. And stereotypical appearances. Courtney knows this. She is a cheerleader. Is she a pretty blonde with blue eyes? Well, yes. Is she popular and perky? ...okay. Yes, again. Is she stuck up and cruel to others for no reason? Ha! There! No to that one. In fact, she's worked for years to portray the perfect image of an upbeat, easy going person. An image that gets harder to hold on to when: The new girl takes an instant dislike to her. Her best friend decides to run against her for Senior Class President. Her football team captain boyfriend breaks up with her. And, oh yeah, she humiliates herself in front of the whole school. Yup, that perfect image is falling apart. "I love how this book is different from other teen fiction books It's like a breath of fresh air from the same old tropes😄 💕" - LaraAmethyst "I loooove this book so much already aghhh" - therealbhavie "I'm hooked- I- I think that's all im gonna say before I run to read the next chapter" - grumpymood "So excited for the next chapter! Characters are complex and unique, the plot continuously thickens, and I'm already waiting to see what happens next. I can't wait!" - Rspicy #1 in TeenLife #2 in TeenLove #5 in TeenFiction
