Tristan was never really the popular kid in class. Not because he was uncool, he just liked being alone. One day after school he gets hit over the head with a bat and gets kidnapped. They repeatedly cut him and beat him which leaves horrible physical and emotional scars. Eventually he gets lose and escaped before they came back. After phoning the police and going to the hospital, he made it safely back home. His physical scars may have started to fade away. But his emotional ones only got worse.
His parents decided to send him to live with his best friend in Miami to heal. But he finds much more than he bargained for, he meets Cassady, a girl who could make or break him. She could heal him or tear him down even more.
