After an alarming nightmare, Makoto and his friends fear that another despair tradegy will struck the world.
It has almost been three years since the killing game at the Future Foundation, Makoto and his friends rebuilding Hopes Peak, and since the fear of the world ending. Makoto is headmaster of the new Hopes Peak Academy, making sure the world is filled with peace by bringing the Hope Festival, the anniversary party, and new students to transform the world.
