I looked straight at his eyes as his seems to study every inch of my face, probably looking for any sign of weakness that screams his name. He won't find one though. I've moved on and the only effect he has on me is only a fragment of what I felt for him before. He continued to study my face and it made me uncomfortable. Why won't he answer my question? With a sigh, I turned around to return to the safety of my house-where I know I'll be safe from those eyes that looks like it doesn't want to let mine go. "I wanted to see you" he answered. "I want to see you again." If you've already closed a chapter in your life and you're already about to open a new one, what would you do if the past chapter comes opening itself up? Will you flip through the pages once more or would you turn your back on it knowing that that certain chapter will always be the best one? Or would you choose to start on a new promising one?

I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

Ranboo, a guy who grew up in the city, was dared to live in his grandparents' house in the countryside. He grew up around technology and the luxury of it so this is going to be a challenge for him. There, he met the shy and only neighbor of his grandparents, Y/N. They found themselves waking up in a strange and unusual place everytime they would fall in a deep slumber. There, they would meet each other but not as themselves, but as other people that they couldn't quite recognize. My neighbour's house is normal. There are two stories, stairs, and a tiny porch. A red door, and many windows with pretty crimson shutters. My neighbour's house is normal. The lights are on when they need to be, and off when they don't. The grass is mown, and there are sometimes cars in the driveway. My neighbour's house is normal. Sometimes I can see into some of the rooms. Always when I'm not really trying. The rooms are nice, with a warm colour scheme and polished wooden furniture. There is one room that is entirely white. A bare bulb swings from the ceiling. From the outside, I can see no furniture. The walls are old and stained.. There are no shutters on that window. My neighbour's house is normal. I see them sometimes. They're gone most of the day. We wave when we see each other, coming or going. Those two seem nice. Didn't they used to have a son about my age? My neighbour's house is normal. They turn off their lights about the same time we do. Except in that one room. The lights in the white room stay on late each night. I tried to watch them, once, to see how late they stayed on. I fell asleep. When I woke up, they were already off. My neighbour's house is normal. Sometimes I hear sounds from the house. Almost like muffled screams. Everyone gets night terrors, it's common knowledge that, at night, everything can sound scary. My neighbour's house is normal. Except when it isn't.
