what if you went to another world, like actually you. The Path of the Adventurer
Here is an epic fantasy story set in my D&D world that I wrote not only for fans of RPGs and fantasy in general, but for all my friends. This story about my character Erion, a young elven warrior; and his many allies and enemies in the kingdom of Briarbeth. In this vast story, you'll meet daring heroes, joy-bringing mages, ruthless orcs and more. This novel has a multitude of inspirations and influences, chief among them being Dungeons and Dragons, The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit, and The Legend of Zelda. I even take cues from anime such as Little Witch Academia, and favorite video games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and various JRPGs like Chrono Trigger. Look closely, and you may find subtle references to some of the aforementioned franchises at different points in the book :) Just a little warning: The story, especially the first couple of chapters, starts off with a several common fantasy tropes and clichés at first glance (e.g. elves and orcs, an old wizard with a pointy hat and a grey beard, taking treasure from dragon etc.), but it will grow into something a bit more unique as the story progresses. Please forgive my usage of Tolkienesque tropes, as I came up with the concept of the series when I was only fourteen (At the time I was making it in the style of old school fantasy, so what can you expect :p). Even I, as the creator will say it is cliched or stereotypical in some aspects. I only refuse to change them due to spending a lot of time with them during my high school years (And tbh i love elves/dwarves/orcs fantasy). With that aside, I hope that you will love my fantasy universe full of adventure and lore. Now sit back, relax, and embrace yourself for a magical adventure with Erion and his friends! Two years has passed since the long night battle ,where humanity together faced the death. 2 years since the thrones was melt by the blazing flame of the black dragon ,and the loss of the queen of dragon , the fall of the king's land and her corrupted queen . Now the kingdom of the north is in the hand of the legitime one : sansa stark, and the 6 kingdom under the wise and young Brandon Stark ,with his loyal councils : Tyrion lannister , Sam , Sire Brienne , Sire Davos , Sire Bronn and a new young noble woman from Dorm kingdom . During these 2 years , Brandon would wisely and carefully bring prosperity and wealth with the help of Tyrion and Davos. Jon Snow was chosen lord commander again in black castle, he and Tormund are in the alert with the dangers lurking around, vile wildlings who swim in blood and have ferocity unparalleled ,it numbers keeps increasing each days with an eerie and bloody feel surrounding them. Arya Stark will still discover the exotic places of southeros,on board with a mysterious old wity partner ,a roamer of the sea. How their story will unfold , knowing that rumors of lion revival could be heard across the kingdoms, will they retain peace?will they able to face the dangers looming far in the wilderness ?
The Tale of Dragons and Dungeons
The result of me and a couple of my friends playing Dungeons and Dragons. After a while, we just decided to make it into a story. I wrote basically all of it, and my friends made requests. Most of the time I tried to keep it to one linear story. I planned for a couple plot twist that never actually happened as I went on. Meep, my first story submitted to here. It also happens to rip off a lot of things from other stories. If you can notice them, you are the most epic person ever and you deserve ice cream.Complete
The Guild:Inside Job
Note: I don't think this would be considered mature, however there is a tiny bit of cursing, sorry if it offended anyone. Imagine a world filled with only witches and warlocks. It probably would be all magical and perfect. But it isn't it's a horrible place, a terrifying place one in which some witches and warlocks hate so much they escape into a different world. Our world, but what happens to them then? Normally they know nothing of our world except that it's out there, but they're not alone. There is two groups, or guilds as the witches/warlocks call them. The guilds people work as professional killers, they all have different jobs to help each other. Such as real estate. One of the members is a warlock by the name of Rusty Blanchet. He's an ordinary warlock with a wife and kids, until one day something happens that sends him on and adventure to save everything he loves.Complete
